The second a website goes live, you are a globally operating business because you make yourself, your products and services accessible to the whole world.
Providing content in only one language thus creates a barrier which can hardly be breached by only a user friendly website.
If you intend to do business with other countries instead of only serving your own you need to speak the language of the customers that are interested in your products or services. And that not only without typos and grammatical errors in your content but also with another and country specific layout adapted to the preferences of that region.
